  • You are activating your Purdue account or setting up Microsoft MFA and email.
  • You need official Wi-Fi, ResNet, URHome, printing, software, or IT support instructions.

This is not for

  • Entering a Purdue password on BoilerCompass; BoilerCompass never collects Purdue credentials.
  • Assuming West Lafayette ResNet or URHome instructions apply to Indianapolis or private housing; network guidance varies by campus and residence.

Prepare before opening

  • New students may need their Purdue ID number and account-setup password.
  • Use Purdue’s current Microsoft Authenticator MFA instructions rather than older third-party setup guides.
